We specialize in Thorough Eye Exams in a Caring Environment using the latest equipment to diagnose and treat eye conditions. We also provide Lasik & Cataract Co-Management, Treatment of Disease including Glaucoma and Dry Eye, and Treatment of Eye Allergies. We offer Lens and Frame Selection to Compliment your Lifestyle. Outside prescriptions are welcome. (The government requires that we provide an exam for patients needing cataract post-op glasses being filed through Medicare.)

People who have diabetes or risk for macular degeneration are counseled on lifestyle choices to make now before vision loss occurs to try and avoid these losses.

Our eye exams are very comprehensive and usually involve:

~ Complete Medical and Eye History
~ Measurement of Visual Ability
~ Digital Retinal (inside eye) Photography
~ Screening Side Vision (Visual Field) testing
~ Prescriptions for Glasses, Contacts, or Medications
~ Intraocular Pressure to test for Glaucoma risk
~ Pupil Dilation to help detect disease
~ Diagnosis and Treatment as required
~ Patient Education about their eye condition and how
to manage it best.

In addition, other tests as needed may include:

~ Nerve Fiber Analysis for glaucoma patients
~ Macula Edema Testing for diabetics and macular
degeneration patients
~ Cornea Ultrasound
~ Humphrey Visual Field for glaucoma and other patients
~ Referrals for MRI, etc as needed
~ Referrals as needed related to hypertension, diabetic, or other suspected diseases found during the eye exam
~ Co-management of LASIK patients with the Huntsville Laser Center
~ Co-management of cataract patients
~ Referrals to retinal specialists if needed

Frames:

We offer a wide selection of frames including BCBG, Cole Haan, Flexon, Fossil, Guess, Joseph Abboud, Juicy Couture, Kate Spade, Nautica, Nine West, Prodesign, and Saks 5th Avenue. We also have rimless frames such as Silhouette and frames that come with polarized sunglasses clips.

Children's frames include Disney and X-Games.

Our sunwear inculdes Wiley X, Rudy Project, and Adidas.

Contacts:

We recommend the new breathable disposable contacts for our patients and represent all of the major makers. We offer a variety of contact lenses including:

~ Color Contacts
~ Contacts that work for patients with Dry Eye.
~ Bifocal Contacts
~ Astigmatism correcting (Toric) Contacts
~ Gas Perm / RGP lenses

We are convienently located on Bailey Cove Road and have a large handicap accessible parking lot and facility. We have a dedicated small children's area for kids to play in. We have a spacious dispensery with an upscale selection of frames.
