Dr. Mary Beth Chenault

Dr. Chenault graduated from the University of Alabama Birmingham School of Optometry in 2013. As a primary eye care physician, she uses advanced technology to diagnose and manage a wide variety of ocular diseases, including dry eyes, cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma, binocular vision disorders, and keratoconus, among others.  She also co-manages systemic diseases with primary care physicians and specialists.  Some of these conditions include diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, autoimmune conditions, and monitoring ocular health related to the use of high-risk medications.  She provides patients with the latest in contact lens and eyewear technology.  She works closely with our optical staff to ensure that your glasses provide you with optimal vision and maximum comfort.
Dr. Chenault particularly enjoys working with children to provide preventative care in the areas of myopia management and infant eye exams.

Dr. Chenault and her husband, Kris, have lived in the Huntsville area since 2013.  They have two sons, serve as leaders of a local Cub Scout pack, and are active members of their church.  In her personal time, Dr. Chenault enjoys spending time with her family and wake surfing.
